The Grand Hotel was inaugurated with great pomp and splendour on 5 October 1905. It was a first class hotel with magnificent interior fittings. The restaurant quickly became one of Halmstads most popular music cafés with many celebrity guests. Over the years there have been many changes in fashions and approaches. The building still has the same external appearance as it had in 1905, but the interior has obviously changed. In September 2001 we opend our new Bar and Restaurant.
